Cars and motorcycles have shaped my life from the beginning.

Even as a little boy, I spent my pocket money on miniature cars. I spent hours caring for these cars in an underground garage (our corner seat in the dining room) to park or to build a matchbox racetrack in the stairwell of my parents' house and to optimize the steep curves. As an 11-year-old, I pushed my nose flat on the BMW Museum opened in 1972 to have a glance at the BMW Braq Turbo. At the age of 16, my passion for mopeds awoke. With the simplest resources, we boys have rebuilt our mopeds and changed clothes to the racing uniforms. The streets of my hometown with the notorious SONAX curve were our training routes.

During my professional life, my job was mostly my company car. Already during my apprenticeship I gained an enormous knowledge about traffic law and traffic safety, so I am familiar with all traffic regulations and required regulatory approvals. Permanent drivers training and road safety training are part of everyday working life. Driving a car was my favorite free-time-spending activity, preferably in the classical vehicle on scenic routes. Again and again I discover the ideal routes for trips and plan them with pleasure down to the last detail.
